...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM MONDAY TO 11 AM PDT
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow above 7000 feet. Snow accumulation of 8 to 16
  inches with 1 to 3 feet along the Sierra crest. 1 to 4 inches of
  snow accumulation for communities along Highway 395. Ridge winds
  gusting up to 70 mph.

* WHERE...Mono County.

* WHEN...From 11 AM Monday to 11 AM PDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult, especially through
  mountain passes such as Sonora and Tioga passes. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning
  commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heaviest snowfall is expected Monday night
  through Tuesday morning with snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per
  hour.

  inches with up to 2 feet along the Sierra crest. 1 to 3 inches of
  snow accumulation at lake level. Ridge winds gusting up to 60 mph.

* WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

* WHEN...From 11 AM Monday to 11 AM PDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult, especially through mountain
  passes such as Donner Pass, Carson Pass, and Ebbetts Pass. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the Monday evening and Tuesday
  morning commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
