Bridgeport, Incline Village, Susanville, Markleeville, South Lake
Tahoe, Truckee, Sierraville, Glenbrook, Portola, Lee Vining,

...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY EVENING THROUGH
THURSDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Snow accumulations up to 2 to 3 feet near the
  Sierra crest with up to 12 to 18 inches in the Sierra communities.
  Winds gusting as high as 70 mph.

* WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area, Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern
  Sierra Counties, and Mono County.

* WHEN...From Tuesday evening through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday and Thursday
  commutes. Strong winds could cause damage to trees and power lines
  as well as blowing snow that could cause near whiteout conditions.
