...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM PDT WEDNESDAY...

.DISCUSSION...

* Hot temperatures continue through Tuesday with terrain driven
  winds through the morning hours then southeasterly to west
  winds in the afternoon.

* Dry weather with poor overnight recoveries continues through
  Tuesday. However, storm chances have increased to 10-20% in
  the afternoon.

* Temperatures start a slight cool down to seasonal by Wednesday,
  at the same time enhanced afternoon winds return.


.MONDAY...

Sky/Weather.........Sunny then becoming mostly cloudy. Slight
                    chance of showers and thunderstorms late in the
                    afternoon.
Temperature.........58-62 at forecast start...Max 83-88.
RH..................30-33% at forecast start...Min 9-13%.
20-Foot Winds.......West winds 5-10 mph shifting to the southeast
late in the morning, then increasing to 9-14 mph
with gusts up to 20 mph early in the afternoon
decreasing to the west 5-9 mph late in the
                    afternoon. Gusty and erratic winds expected
                    near thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Chc Wetting Rain....5-10% in the afternoon.
Chance of thunder...10-20% in the afternoon.
Mixing Height.......200-500 ft agl then 11100-12100 ft agl in the
                    late morning and afternoon.
