High pressure brings dry and warm conditions today, with peak
heating on Friday. Thunderstorm chances return Friday afternoon
mainly south of I-80, with isolated dry lightning that could lead
to new fire starts. Showers and storms coverage will increase
this weekend and continue through much of next week with lower
chances for dry lightning, but increased risk for heavy rain.
