Southwest winds will increase today, leading to 3 to 6 hours of
elevated to locally critical fire weather conditions during the
afternoon for eastern Lassen. Afternoon and evening thunderstorms,
mainly for northeast CA, northern Washoe, and Surprise Valley may
produce strong outflows and occasional lightning, some of which
could be dry. Otherwise, dry conditions with breezy winds each
afternoon prevail this week.
