Winds will shift north to northeasterly in the late afternoon,
with local ridge gusts up to 25-30 mph for portions of northeast
CA, northwest NV, and the Basin and Range. Otherwise, above
average temperatures and dry conditions prevail through much of
the week with poor overnight recoveries, especially across western
NV.

High pressure stays in place through the week keeping
temperatures well above normal along with dry conditions. Single
digit minimum relative humidity will be seen over most valley
locations with moderate recoveries overnight. No significant winds
are expected through the week.
