There is a slight chance for isolated dry thunderstorms over
Lassen and northern Washoe counties this afternoon and evening.
Enhanced northwesterly breezes on Monday afternoon will generate
brief periods of elevated to locally critical fire weather
conditions on Monday afternoon. Otherwise, strong high pressure
over the region this week brings an extended period of near-
record temperatures, extremely dry conditions, and light winds.

Strong high pressure builds over the region this week, creating an
extended period of very hot temperatures. Extremely dry
conditions with poor overnight humidity recoveries are also
expected through at least the end of the week. Northerly breezes
become light Tuesday onward.
