...BRIEF CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS FROM THE SIERRA FRONT INTO
WESTERN NEVADA WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON DUE TO GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY...
.DISCUSSION...
A few hours of critical fire weather conditions are possible from the
Sierra Front into western Nevada Wednesday afternoon. Isolated dry
lightning possible near the Oregon border Wednesday afternoon. Otherwise,
seasonably hot and dry through midweek with poor overnight recoveries
across lower elevations, including the southern Sierra Front. Strong
high pressure will induce a heatwave this weekend with expanding areas
of poor nighttime RH recoveries.
