.DISCUSSION...
Strong and gusty southwest winds are expected today across the Sierra
and western Nevada. Periods of valley rain and mountain snow showers
are possible along the Sierra through Friday with a wetter storm
system expected Sunday and Monday. An overall cooler pattern will be
in place with chances for an atmospheric river type storm for the
middle of next week.
Note: Thunderstorms imply gusty and erratic winds.
