.DISCUSSION...
Winds will become north to northeasterly in the late afternoon,
with local ridge gusts up to 25-30 mph for portions of northeast
CA, northwest NV, and the Basin and Range. Otherwise,
above average temperatures and dry conditions will persist
through much of the week with poor overnight recoveries,
especially across western NV.
