.DISCUSSION...
Light showers near the Oregon border and Pershing County will
continue through the early morning. Otherwise, dry conditions are
expected elsewhere today and on Monday. With the passage of a weak
system, the area will have better mixing and weaker inversions. But,
temperatures will be below average through Monday. Westerly winds
this morning will turn to the north to northeast this afternoon and
evening on the ridgetops, will overall light winds elsewhere. The
next weather system arrives by the middle of the week, which will
bring a cooling trend, and increased ridgetop winds.
