...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM PDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible. Increased risk for flash flooding along the Davis and
  Conner burn scar areas as well as in the Black Rock Desert.

* WHERE...Portions of east central California, including the
  following area, Greater Lake Tahoe Area and Nevada, including the
  following areas, Greater Lake Tahoe Area, Greater Reno-Carson
  City-Minden Area and Northern Washoe County.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Increased monsoon moisture and training may produce areas of
    flash flooding this afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
