...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 9 AM
EST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Slick and hazardous roads due to lingering snowpack and
  black ice.

* WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 9 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Lingering snowpack and black ice will create very
  slippery conditions on roads, bridges and sidewalks. The hazardous
  conditions will likely impact both this evening`s commute and
  Thursday`s morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
