...INCREASED FIRE DANGER THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
NORTH CAROLINA...

Very dry fine fuels, wind gusts up to 25 mph, and low afternoon
relative humidity below 30 percent will result in an increased
risk of adverse fire behavior across portions of central North
Carolina this afternoon.

People are urged to avoid outdoor burning this afternoon. If you
must burn, use extreme caution since fires can grow quickly and
become dangerous in these conditions. Ensure that fire suppression
equipment is readily available. Properly extinguish and dispose
of any smoking materials.
