At 150 AM EST, Doppler radar was tracking an area of showers with embedded strong thunderstorms across Warren, Vance, Franklin, and Wake Counties, moving east at 50 mph. The strongest storms were located across northeastern Wake and southern Franklin Counties where half inch hail was reported. These storms will move across Nash and Edgecombe counties over the next hour. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include...
