This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

It will be windy today with southwest winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts
to 35 mph. The strongest winds will be late morning into the early
afternoon.

There is a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 5) of severe thunderstorms this
afternoon and evening. The main hazard is the potential of local
damaging wind.

There is a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 5) of flash flooding today and
tonight. The main hazard is expected to be the potential of mainly
urban and small stream flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

There is a likelihood of freezing conditions Tuesday night and
Wednesday morning. Lows should fall into the upper 20s to lower 30s.

mid afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

There is a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 5) of severe thunderstorms in
the southern Coastal Plain in southeastern North Carolina Monday.
Local damaging wind may accompany any stronger storms.

There is a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 5) of flash flooding Monday and
Monday night. The main hazard is expected to be the potential of
urban and small stream flooding.

There is a chance of frost or freezing conditions late Tuesday night
and Wednesday morning. Lows are expected to be in the lower to mid
30s.
