Warning for the following rivers in North Carolina...

  Cape Fear River At Fayetteville affecting Cumberland County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Cape Fear River at Fayetteville.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 32.0 feet, Action Stage. Banks of the Cape Fear River
  begin to overflow.
  At 35.0 feet, Minor flooding begins. The boat ramp and lower
  parking lot at Riverside Bait and Tackle off Person Street are
  flooded. The stage and lower seating area at the Cape Fear
  amphitheater are flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 PM EDT Monday the stage was 32.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    just after midnight tonight to a crest of 37.9 feet Tuesday
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday evening.
  - Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    38.0 feet on 02/09/2010.
