Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. PMZ001-120900- Synopsis for the E Pacific within 250 nm of Mexico 154 PM PDT Sat Oct 11 2025 .SYNOPSIS...Recently downgraded Tropical Depression Raymond is near 22.5N 109.9W, or about 25 nm south of the southern tip of Baja California at 2 PM PDT. It is moving north-northwest at 12 kt. Maximum sustained winds are 30 kt with gusts to 40 kt, and the minimum central pressure is 1005 mb. Raymond will become a remnant low and move to near 24.6N 110.5W late tonight and dissipate Sun afternoon. Fresh to locally strong northwest winds and moderate to locally rough seas will impact the waters offshore Baja California through Sun night due to the pressure gradient between high pressure building southward offshore California and Raymond. Otherwise, a weakening cold front will push southward across the waters west of Baja California tonight through Sun night, followed by moderate to fresh northerly winds and seas reaching to a peak of around 11 ft north of Punta Eugenia Sun through Mon in NW swell, subsiding Mon night. Looking ahead, an area of low pressure is expected to form off the coast of southern Mexico by the middle of next week.
