PMZ001-022130- Synopsis for the E Pacific within 250 nm of Mexico 222 AM PDT Tue Sep 2 2025 .SYNOPSIS...Tropical Depression Twelve-E is located near 17.6N 106.8W at 02/0900 UTC, moving west-northwest at 13 kt. Maximum sustained winds are 30 kt with gusts to 40 kt. Estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb. Twelve-E is expected to move west- northwestward to northwestward at 10 to 15 kt, and gradually intensify, remaining off the coast of southwestern Mexico during the next couple of days, and then is expected to turn northward and approach Baja California Sur Thu through Fri night. Twelve-E is expected to reach near 18.6N 108.5W as a tropical storm midday Tue, reach near 20.1N 110.5W midnight Tue, near 21.2N 112.3W midday Wed, near 23.2N 114.2W midday Thu, then move northward to near 24.2N 114.3W midnight Thu, and near 26.3N 113.5W midnight Fri. Elsewhere, high pressure will remain centered NW of the area through mid- week, with an associated ridge across the Baja California waters. The pressure gradient between this area of high pressure and a trough over the Gulf of California will support moderate NW to N winds across the Baja waters through Wed before diminishing.
