Late tonight into early Thursday morning, a new incoming system will bring snow to the higher terrain and the Palmer Divide. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Snow will be possible on Thursday, especially over the Ramparts and Palmer Divide areas, as well as across the southern Sangre de Cristo mountains and Raton Mesa. Light new snow accumulations are anticipated with this, with the highest amounts of around 2 to 3 inches of new snow expected for the Palmer Divide and Raton Mesa. There could be blowing snow with temporary whiteout and snow squall conditions across portions of the Palmer Divide for several hours during the morning hours beginning around 4 to 6 AM. Snow will begin over the central mountains on Saturday during the day, and then spread southeastward through the evening, with snow becoming more likely along the I-25 Corridor going into Sunday morning. There could be some lingering snow, especially over portions of the higher terrain, going into the early hours on Monday.
