This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected today, with storms
over the higher terrain by midday, then pushing into a more
unstable atmosphere across the far southeast plains through the
late afternoon and evening. There will be the potential for strong
to marginally severe storms, capable of producing strong winds up
to 60 and hail to near 1 in diameter east of a line from Crowley
County to eastern Las Animas County. Further west, stronger
storms could produce winds up to 50 mph, along with small hail and
brief periods of moderate to heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Daily afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms are expected
Wednesday through Monday. Most likely hazards with any more
organized storms will be gusty outflow winds, small hail, frequent
lightning, and brief periods of heavy rain.
