This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue for
most of the overnight hours, especially across the mountains and
mountain valleys. While gusty winds and small hail will be
possible with any storm, excessive rainfall and localized flash
flooding will also be possible, especially for our burn scars and
other flood prone areas like the Chalk Cliffs.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected each afternoon
Monday through Saturday, with the least daily coverage expected on
Thursday, the 4th of July. The main hazards from any storm are
expected to be gusty outflow winds, small hail, and lightning.
Localized heavy rainfall may also be possible with the strongest
storms, which could lead to localized flash flooding on area burn
scars.
