This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Areas of frost will be likely this morning and possible again
tonight across the San Luis Valley. Precautions should be taken to
protect tender vegetation.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Warm and breezy conditions can be expected Friday, with the potential
for spotty critical fire weather conditions across portions of the
plains. A few showers and thunderstorms will be possible across southern
portions of the state on Friday.

A cooler and wetter weekend remains on tap across south central and
southeast Colorado. A few strong storms will be possible across the
far southeast plains Saturday afternoon, with more widespread rain
developing across south central and into southeast Colorado late
Saturday morning and afternoon. Rain and higher mountain snow, will
continue to spread north and east across the eastern mountains and
plains before lifting into northeastern Colorado late Saturday night
and early Sunday morning. There is the potential for several inches
of accumulating snow across the higher mountain peaks, generally above
12,000 feet, of the Central mountains into the Pikes Peak region by
Sunday morning.

A cool and unsettled weather pattern will continue into early next
week.
