This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

A weather system will spread snow showers into the southern
mountains Saturday night and Sunday, with scattered rain showers
and a possible thunderstorm, expected across the southern tier of
Colorado on Sunday. Precipitation amounts are expected to remain
light.

A stronger storm system looks to impact the region Monday and
Tuesday, with breezy winds and warm temperatures bringing the
potential for critical fire weather conditions to San Luis Valley
and southeast Plains Monday afternoon. Snow looks to spread into
the mountains Monday night with rain and snow spreading east
across the high mountain valleys through the eastern mountains and
plains on Tuesday. Accumulating snow and strong winds could
produce high impacts, especially across the Pikes Peak/Palmer
Divide region and the Raton Mesa and southern I-25 Corridor on
Tuesday. The strength and track of this system is still uncertain,
so details concerning snowfall totals and the most impactful
weather are still being honed down. Please monitor the latest
forecasts concerning this developing storm system.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather spotters will not be needed today or tonight.
