Critical fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon along the southern I-25 corridor, where west winds gusting 40 to 60 mph and relative humidity below 15 percent will combine to create high fire danger. Occasional snow showers are expected over the central mountains late this afternoon and overnight, with accumulations of 1 to 3 inch possible, mainly north of Cottonwood Pass. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Cooler weather with periodic light snow across the central mountains can be expected for Saturday and Sunday. Most accumulations will remain under an inch or two, however the central mountains could see localized accumulations of 2 to 6 inches across the higher areas, mainly north of Cottonwood Pass. Another round of snow will push into the mountains on Monday, and spread across the southeast plains Monday Night and Tuesday. Accumulations will remain light but could affect travel across the high country. Another round of snow will spread across southern CO Tuesday night and Wednesday which could be a little heavier, especially across the Continental Divide. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
