.DISCUSSION...

Warm and mostly dry in the area today and Sunday, with a few
exceptions.

Scattered showers with a few weak thunderstorms will be possible
in the area during the mid-late afternoon hours. No precipitation
is expected over the burn site at this time, but outflow winds may
be a concern if storms drift off of the terrain at all. If storms
do make it off of the nearby higher mountains, main impact
concerns would be lightning, as well as brief periods of gusty and
erratic outflow winds between 35-40 mph. Precipitation chances
quickly dwindle after about 6-7pm this evening.

Overnight, lows will be in the low-40s, with relative humidity
recovering above 70 percent.

For Sunday plan on warmer conditions with slightly lower RH
levels. Sustained winds around 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph or
so during the mid-late afternoon. Chances for showers are slightly
lower than today, but non-zero. Isolated to scattered showers
will once again be possible during the mid-late afternoon, mainly
over the mountains. If showers manage to drift towards the burn
site, again impacts would largely be lightning and gusty winds to
40 mph or so.
