Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
1040 PM MDT Sun Sep 29 2024

.Discussion...

Near critical fire weather conditions will be possible tomorrow
afternoon across the plains due to gusty winds behind a passing
dry cool front.

For the remainder of the forecast period, high pressure will
build over the region, and the jet stream will remain to the
north of the district. This weather pattern will bring dry
conditions along with light winds to the region through the
remainder of the week.

Smoke dispersion will be good or better tomorrow afternoon and
fair or better Tuesday afternoon.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
