.Discussion...
An upper storm system will begin to impact the region Saturday
through Tuesday. Increased fire weather conditions will spread
from the San Luis Valley on Saturday, across the whole district
on Sunday with gusty winds and low humidity values. High elevation
snow and a few showers and thunderstorms are possible Saturday,
with activity spreading from the Central Mountains into the Palmer
Divide Sunday. The upper system will move across the area Monday
and Tuesday with increased shower coverage and cooler temperatures.
Once this upper system departs Tuesday, flat westerly flow and drier
conditions through late week.
Smoke dispersions will fall from excellent this afternoon to poor
overnight. A return to excellent dispersions are forecast for
Saturday.
