Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
741 AM MDT Sun Jun 30 2024

.Discussion...

No critical fire weather conditions are expected through at least
mid week, with relatively high humidities across most of the
district. Fire danger increases somewhat on Thursday as things
begin to dry out, especially along the I-25 corridor and parts of
the Arkansas River Valley.

Daily showers and thunderstorms will be possible each afternoon,
producing gusty and erratic outflow winds and lightning. Slowly
drying conditions around mid week will lessen thunderstorm
coverage but marginally increase fire danger, especially around
the July 4th holiday.

Smoke dispersions will be good today and very good or better on
Monday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
