.Discussion...
Many areas have seen some much needed moisture yesterday, and will
continue to see more of it today. Could this will bode well for
greenup for some areas? We can certainly hope so! Snow and rain come
to an end from northwest to southeast throughout the today/this
evening, with mild and dry weather on Easter Sunday. Warming and
drying move for the first half of next week, though winds look to be
too light for any critical fire weather concerns. Thunderstorms
maybe possible, at least on our plains, for Thursday and Friday.
Afternoon smoke rates will be mostly poor today, with the exception
of a few pockets of fair rates on our far eastern plains and the
SLV. For Sunday, rates will vary greatly across the district, but
generally look to be good or better for most zones.
