noon until 6 PM MDT Monday..
.Discussion...
Very warm and breezy conditions develop Monday, producing critical
fire weather conditions for portions of the district during the
afternoon. Mild, dry and breezy weather is expected Tuesday and
Wednesday, then very windy and warm conditions return for Thursday,
with an increased potential for widespread critical conditions on
the plains. A strong weather system then moves through the Rockies
late Thursday into Friday, bringing a good chance of rain and snow
to many locations.
Afternoon smoke dispersion will reach very good to excellent
levels on Monday as transport winds increase and mixing heights
climb. Winds diminish slightly on Tuesday, though still enough
mixing to get all areas into the good or better range for several
hours in the afternoon.
