.Discussion...
Very low chance at thunderstorms developing over the plains this
afternoon and evening, if they do develop, they will be strong.
The upper high will build across the region this week, with hot and
dry weather, especially Monday into Tuesday, before low chances of
thunderstorms return to the forecast from mid to late week. High
temperatures will be hot across the lower elevations, with 90s and
lower 100s through much of the week. Elevated meteorological fire
weather conditions are possible Monday and Tuesday for mountain areas
and the San Luis Valley.
Smoke dispersions will be poor early this morning, becoming
excellent across the district by mid morning. A return to poor
dispersions is forecast overnight.
