.Discussion...
No critical fire weather conditions are expected over the next seven
days.
Showers and thunderstorms will linger across the higher terrain and
adjacent plains this evening, finally diminishing between 2200 and
2400. Temperatures will quickly rebound to around normal levels
stating Tuesday, with very little variation expected over the next 7
days. There will be a daily shot of afternoon and evening showers
and thunderstorms, mainly tied to the higher terrain, and Thursday
will bring the best chance for additional significant precipitation.
Plan on Poor smoke dispersion this evening through tomorrow morning.
Surface-based inversions will break between 0900 and 1000, with
ventilation rates improving to Very Good for the eastern plains,
Fire Zones 226 through 237, and Good for the mountains and high
valleys, by 1300 and lasting through 1900. Similar ventilation rates
and trends are forecast for Wednesday.
