396 FNUS55 KPUB 222115 FWFPUB Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado National Weather Service Pueblo Co 215 PM MST Wed Jan 22 2025 .Discussion... No fire weather concerns through the extended period across the district. An upper trough will move across Colorado through Thursday afternoon. A few light snow showers may be possible over the Central Mountains, southeast into the Raton Mesa through this evening. Cool and breezy conditions will prevail across the Plains through Thursday. Brief ridging will spread across Colorado on Friday with warming conditions. The next upper storm system looks to impact Colorado over the weekend into early next week, with more mountain precipitation, pushing into the Plains early next week. A lot uncertainty remains with this possible storm system. Poor smoke dispersions are forecast for tonight, becoming fair to good across the district on Thursday. --- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds --- COZ220-231115- Upper Arkansas River Valley Including Lake County and Chaffee County- 215 PM MST Wed Jan 22 2025 .TONIGHT...
