Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
1028 PM MST Wed Nov 6 2024

.Discussion...

A storm system is expected to move across the southern Rockies
through the end of the work week and will bring rounds of
significant precipitation to the district as well as keep
temperatures below seasonal levels.

After a lull this evening, another more significant round of
precipitation looks to affect the district Thursday into the
weekend. Very heavy snow, over 2 feet in spots, is likely,
especially across the southern mountains into the southeast Plains.
Warmer and drier weather remains in the offing for early next week.

Smoke dispersion will be mainly poor both tomorrow and Friday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
