.Discussion...
Gusty west to southwest winds will continue over the southern
I-25 corridor this evening, with gusts to around 50 mph possible.
Humidity values will slowly rise throughout the evening, and given
this, along with the gusty winds, spotty near critical conditions
will remain possible during the early mid evening hours.
Otherwise, no critical fire weather conditions are expected over
the next several days.
Colder conditions will return to the district starting late
tonight, as a cold front moves in over the plains. Moderate
snowfall will move into the Central Mountains, with lighter snow
over the San Juans and northern Sangres. Snow chances will
continue and spread across larger portions of the district as we
move into next week, with temperatures getting colder as well.
Smoke dispersions will drop tonight, reaching fair to poor in
most places. For Saturday, dispersions will be good or better over
the mountains, dropping to poor in the evening. For the plains,
dispersions on Saturday will be fair.
