.Discussion...
Critical fire weather conditions are not expected through the next
several days. Today will bring near normal temperatures and dry
conditions for most locations. Our next system is incoming though,
and snow chances begin over the central mountains later this
morning, spreading in from northwest to southeast throughout the
day. Snow chances move into the Pikes Peak region later this
evening, and into the rest of the plains through the overnight
hours. Impactful snow totals and meaningful moisture are expected
for most locations, and difficult travel will be possible for the
Palmer Divide through much of Wednesday.
Our pattern remains active through the rest of the week, with near
normal temperatures and bouts of mountain snow chances.
Afternoon smoke dispersions will be mainly poor today and tomorrow.
