.Discussion...
Plan on cooler temperatures with higher humidity across the area
today and on Monday, then a warming trend returns starting Tuesday
as high pressure builds back in. However, stronger winds are not
forecast, so critical fire weather conditions are not anticipated
over the next 7 days.
Surface-based inversions will break between 0800 and 0900 this
morning, with ventilation rates improving to Excellent for Fire
Zones 220, 223 and 224 by 1200, and Good for the remainder of the
district. Smoke dispersion is expected to remain favorable through
1900. More restrictive ventilation is anticipated for Monday for all
areas.
