.Discussion...
Critical fire weather is not expected for the next seven days. One
last warm and dry is expected for our Friday, before our weather
takes a sharp turn towards winter. Cold air is expected for tomorrow
through Monday, with a couple chances for snow coming through
tonight and Sunday night as well. Both systems will be quick moving
and moisture starved, so snow totals will be low-end, especially for
water content. Near normal temperatures return by Tuesday, and
unsettled weather looks to remain.
Afternoon smoke dispersions will vary greatly across the district
today, with generally poor rates for the plains and for the San Luis
Valley, and fair to good rates for most of our mountain zones. Rates
will be good or better for most zones tomorrow, with the exception
of the southern I-25 corridor.
