.DISCUSSION...
Very hot and dry conditions will persist through the beginning of
this week. Temperatures will top out above 110 degrees both Monday
and Tuesday afternoon. Minimum afternoon humidity values will bottom
out around 10% each afternoon with poor overnight recovery expected.
Winds will favor a southerly direction with afternoon gusts around
20-25 mph on Monday. These gusty winds coupled with low humidity
will result in elevated fire weather conditions during the late
afternoon and early evening. Lighter winds are anticipated on Tuesday.
