Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest and South-Central
Arizona and Southeast California
National Weather Service Phoenix AZ
150 PM MST Mon Oct 13 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Wetting rain chances will continue today over eastern districts
with chances for heavy rainfall and flooding. Dry air over SE
California and SW Arizona will sweep through the entire region
Tuesday. Elevated moisture levels will keep humidity levels in
eastern districts above 50% today and only drying slightly
Tuesday. Western districts will generally experience afternoon
humidity values 20-30%. Erratic and locally gusty winds will be
common around showers and thunderstorms with more widespread gusty
winds affecting the region this afternoon/evening, then lingering
into Tuesday.

...Thunderstorms imply gusty winds...
