Santiam Pass, Santiam Junction, Bennett Pass, Larch Mountain,
Tombstone Summit, Timothy Lake, Mt. St. Helens, and Government

...WINTER STORM WATCH NOW IN EFFECT FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH
MONDAY AFTERNOON ABOVE 2500 FEET...

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible above 2500 feet. Total snow
  accumulations up to 15 inches possible. Winds could gust as high
  as 35 mph.

* WHERE...South Washington Cascades and the Northern and Central
  Cascades of Oregon.

* WHEN...From late Saturday night through Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winterize your vehicle and have a winter emergency driving kit
readily available if you plan on driving over the Cascade passes.
Make sure your emergency kit has the following items: flashlights,
batteries, blankets, a shovel, water, non-perishable food items,
tire chains, etc.

Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates on this
situation.
