...FROST ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM PDT THIS MORNING...
...FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 9 AM
PDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...For the Frost Advisory, temperatures as low as 33 to 36
  will result in frost formation. For the Freeze Warning,
  sub-freezing temperatures as low as 32 to 28 expected.

* WHERE...Upper Hood River Valley.

* WHEN...For the Frost Advisory, until 9 AM PDT this morning. For
  the Freeze Warning, from midnight tonight to 9 AM PDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
  sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
  plumbing. Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive
  outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...For the Freeze Warning, probabilities for
  temperatures at or below 32 degrees range between 50-90%.
  Probabilities for temperatures of 28 degrees or colder range
  between 5-35%. These probabilities are highest in the Parkdale
  area and lowest in Odell.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
drip slowly.

Take steps now to protect tender outdoor plants from the cold.
Consider temporarily moving outdoor potted plants indoors if they
are sensitive to cold temperatures.

Consider temporarily covering sensitive plants with a lightweight
cotton fabric (i.e., bedsheets, thin blankets), as this will help
retain heat and provide frost protection for your plants.
