AFTERNOON TO 8 PM PDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Seas 8 to 12 ft at 14 to 18 seconds and northeast winds
  10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt expected. Winds turn
  southeast after 0500 Saturday.

* WHERE...Coastal Waters from Cape Shoalwater to Florence out 60
  NM.

* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 8 PM PDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

AFTERNOON TO 2 PM PDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Rough bar conditions expected. Seas peaking 10 to 12 ft
  at 14 to 16 seconds and north winds 5 to 10 kt, turning
  southeast after 0500 Saturday.

* WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar.

* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 2 PM PDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft,
  especially when operating near to, or attempting to cross, the
  Columbia River Bar.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...First ebb current of 4.22 kt at 214 AM
  Friday. Seas 4 ft. Second ebb current of 4.04 kt at 251 PM
  Friday. Seas 6 to 7 ft. Third ebb current of 4.25 kt at 304 AM
  Saturday. Seas 10 to 12 ft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wave conditions are expected to
be hazardous to small craft in the vicinity of the Columbia River
Bar. Mariners are advised to obtain the latest bar conditions
from the United States Coast Guard before attempting to cross the
bar.
