.DISCUSSION...Expect sunny skies at the site today as the stratus
deck remains confined closer to the central and south Willamette
Valley. High pressure will maintain a strong subsidence inversion
around 1000 feet elevation, resulting in another day of calm winds
and poor ventilation in the valley. A weak system will move into the
area early Thursday and promote a bit more mixing. Can`t rule out some
light rain (20% chance) during the morning, but amounts at the site would
be limited to no more than a few hundredths of an inch.
