...TROPICAL STORM MAN-YI MOVING AWAY FROM GUAM...

All Tropical Storm Warnings have been cancelled.

.AREAS AFFECTED...
This local statement provides important information and
recommended actions for people in Guam and the Northern Marianas.

.Watches/Warnings...
None.

Please check the latest public and marine forecasts for detailed
information about additional hazards.

.STORM INFORMATION...
At 11 AM ChST...the center of Tropical Storm Man-yi (25W) was
located near latitude 12.6N...longitude 143.4E. This was about
110 miles west-southwest of Guam. Storm motion was southwest,
235 degrees, at 18 mph. Storm intensity was 50 mph.

.SITUATION OVERVIEW...
Tropical Storm Man-yi continues to move away from Guam. However,
please wait for your local government to declare condition of
readiness 4 before resuming normal activities and travel.

.PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Damaging winds are no longer expected. However, a Small Craft
Advisory remains in effect of the Marianas coastal waters, due to
frequent wind gusts in excess of 22 knots and seas above 10 feet.

...WINDS...
Winds of 15 to 25 mph will persist through this evening, possibly
longer. Showers will continue to cross the region, and they could
produce wind gusts near 45 mph this afternoon.

...COASTAL INUNDATION...
Hazardous surf will reach 10 to 13 feet for the
east- facing reefs through late tonight.

.OTHER STORM EFFECTS...
Strong wind gusts can be expected with showers as the cross the
region.
