...COASTAL FLOOD STATEMENT REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 9 to 12 feet and minor coastal
inundation.

* WHERE...North and east facing reefs of Majuro.

* WHEN...Through 4 PM ChST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding and debris pushed up on roads and
  property near north and east facing shores. Dangerous swimming
  and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Large north and east swells have spread
  across the Marshall Islands, causing hazardous surf to 12 feet
  and increasing the risk for minor inundation. The greatest risk
  of minor coastal flooding will be along northerly exposed shores
  due to the long-period northerly swell.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.

SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 9 to 12 feet.

* WHERE...North and east facing reefs of Pohnpei and Kosrae.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM ChST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The buoy near Pohnpei continues to show
  occasional long-period north swell, and an elevated northeast
  swell. These two swells will cause hazardous surf tonight and
  Saturday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.
