...HIGH SURF ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM FRIDAY TO 3 PM CHST
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 10 feet in the surf zone.

* WHERE...North and east facing reefs of Kosrae.

* WHEN...From 3 AM Friday to 3 PM ChST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
  localized beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A building trade-wind swell is expected to
  move into Micronesia over the next few days. Surf will initially be
  hazardous along east facing reefs Friday morning, spreading to
  north facing reefs Friday night into Saturday. Surf is expected to
  peak over the weekend before beginning to slowly subside early next
  week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.
