.Short term...
TONIGHT THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT...Active trough over the islands will
continue to usher heavy rains at times, gusty winds and
thunderstorms through tonight. RAOB from this afternoon depicted
an unstable profile and around 30 knots at 925 mb. These
conditions will persist tonight before the ridge to northeast
pushes the trough south southwest. As the ridge moves closer to
the islands, showers and winds will decrease on Sunday. Showers
will become numerous in the morning before dropping to scattered
in the afternoon. Winds will be at gentle flow from the north on
Sunday before shifting to the northeast on Sunday night. With the
ridge axis moving across the islands on Monday night, winds will
decrease to light flow across the islands. Scattered showers will
persist through Monday night.

.Long term...
TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...The ridge axis will descend south
southwest on Wednesday, gentle east winds will move across the
islands and remain through the rest of the week. Stable weather
will persist throughout the week. High temperatures will impact
the islands through most of the new week.

.Marine...
Rough and hazardous seas will remain across the region tonight. As
the active trough moves southwest and winds diminishing, seas will
also subside 5 to 7 feet on Sunday afternoon. No significant
swells are expected to pass across the islands during the new
week.
