Hot and overall very dry conditions will continue today as a weak
shortwave trough passes overhead, supporting an uptick in cloud
cover and isolated showers/virga and dry thunderstorms. Afternoon
relative humidity in the teens coupled with wind gusts up to
25 mph will support elevated fire weather conditions today. High
pressure will return Thursday through Saturday as hot and dry
conditions prevail. Monsoonal moisture building in starting Sunday
will lead to increasing shower and thunderstorm chances, cooler
temperatures, and increased relative humidity for early next week.

.TODAY...

Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny in the morning, then becoming partly
                    sunny in the afternoon. Isolated showers and virga
                    through the day. Isolated dry thunderstorms in the
                    afternoon.
