* Central Idaho Dispatch Area weather impact summary (Zones 475
and 476)...
Very dry air as settled in over the central Idaho mountains, but
the nearly clear skies will allow afternoon high temperatures to
warm compared to yesterday. An approaching cold front for Thursday
will bring increased wind this afternoon and even stronger wind
on Thursday. Fortunately, this front will also have more humid air
and critical fire weather condtions are expected in limited areas.

FIRE WEATHER ZONE 413...
The dry air over eastern Idaho will see a brief warming trend under
the nearly clear skies today. A cold front approaching for Thursday
will increase the wind enough to generate widespread Red Flag conditions
in Fire Weather Forecast Zone 413 for the late afternoon and early evening
hours today. The cold front sweeps through Thursday afternoon/evening.
This will bring even stronger wind for Thursday. The front will
also bring isolated thunderstorms along the Idaho-Montana border and
increased humidity. The increased humidity may not get to the southern
half of the Caribou NF area prior to the onset of the wind, so Red Flag
conditions may return Thursday for Zone 413. Expect a dry and cooler
Friday through Sunday.

A cold front that will approach from the west on Thursday afternoon
will bring stronger wind even starting today. The very dry air left
by the last low will combine with the wind to bring Red Flag conditions
to areas from Ketchum southwards. When the cold front sweeps through
on Thursday, wind will be even stronger, but humidity will also increase
and should keep weather conditions just outside critical fire weather
conditions. A dry and cool Friday through Sunday should follow.
