* Central Idaho Dispatch Area weather impact summary (Zones 475
and 476)...
A weak shortwave trough passage today will support an increase in
cloud cover in addition to isolated showers/virga and dry
thunderstorms. Otherwise, hot and dry conditions will continue
with RHs in the teens/20s and wind gusts up to 25 mph. High
pressure Thursday through Saturday will keep conditions hot and
dry heading into the weekend, as monsoon moisture begins to build
in starting Sunday. This will support the return of isolated to
scattered showers and thunderstorms, cooler temperatures, and
increased RH for early to mid next week.
* East Idaho Dispatch Area weather impact summary (Zones 410...411
and 413)...
A weak shortwave trough passage today will support an increase in
cloud cover in addition to isolated showers/virga and dry
thunderstorms. Otherwise, hot and dry conditions will continue
with RHs in the teens/20s and wind gusts up to 30 mph. High pressure
Thursday and Friday will keep conditions hot and dry overall
outside of very isolated showers and storms along the Wyoming
border region Thursday afternoon. Heading into the weekend, monsoon
moisture will begin to build in. This will support the return of
isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms, cooler temperatures,
and increased RH for starting Saturday for early to mid next week.
