...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 AM EDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Pennsylvania, including the
  following county, Berks.

* WHEN...Until 545 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 427 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is
    already occurring in the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5
    inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
    the warned area.
  - For Manatawny Creek at Spangville:
    At 4:15am the stage was 6.26 feet.
    Flood Stage is 6 feet.
    ...
    For Schuylkill River at Reading:
    At 3:15am the stage was 8.01 feet.
    Flood Stage is 15.5 feet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
